I just bought daylilies today at Lowe's so beautiful it cost me $2.00 a pot that it has three of in a pot so great price. Check it out at Photo forum, I am sure you will like it Baa. I would plant them in the ground and leave them there.
Anyway, Easter lilies and most other types flower from late May thru July some may come earlier some later, but for the most part thats the spread for most all lilies. I've kept plants in same pot, but getting root bound is the main problem there. Soil in artificial areas tends to degrade over time(2-3 years), even if you give it liquid fertilizers. SO always best to replenish the soil and give a bigger pot each year or so..

Expect flowers next year in June or July. The container identifies them as Sioux, Alba, James Brydon and Sulphurea and that they are suitable for containers and small water gardens. I planted them in my pond which is aroung 10' x 6' an 18 inches deep.
Don't expect things like Easter or Tigers or what have you, to bloom at the time you buy them the next year. Most all plants you buy at HD, Lowe's, WM, etc are all forced blooms. Easter lilies are forced to bloom when Easter is scheduled each individual year, since it isn't the same day or week any given year .
After flowering, deadhead the spent flowers, but leave the stem with green leaves to conduct photosynthesis (e.g. build up the strength of the bulbs). Plant your lily in the ground in rich soil with only the spent flowers cut off. It must go through a growth cycle to bloom again. It will get the chill needed, in the ground, this winter.
IF you are cramped for space, you can leave them in same size pot, just trim spindly feeder roots and replace soil. Trimming of roots puts a tad bit of shock on the plant, so may look droopy for a couple days, but it will recover. Do it after blooming so you don't interrupt energy level at blooming time. Water well for a few days, then water as usual.
